This was a pair of Toms my sister had me paint for her. She didn’t know what the design was till I was done, but it was a special one for me. See, there is a story here:
When I was five, my sister and I caught a firefly for the first time. It was so cool. They’re greenish yellow lights that fly around and blink like lightening sparks. It was kind of like having a piece of magic in a jar. My sister and I flipped for who would be able to keep it in their room that night. I won, and I stayed up late watching it. Sadly the firefly died that that night.
My sister never got her night with a firefly in her room. I’m happy that she let me do that, and its something I will always remember. She didn’t get that little firefly, but I hope she likes these.
